Pampas Grass on a bluff over incoming waves at the Fitgerald Marine Reserve along the Pacific coast south of San Francisco, California.  Pampas grass is an invasive plant which, according to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, was introduced to California in 1848, spread over the entire state, and now threatens,  "native plants and the animals that rely on them."
